WHAT YOU NEED TO GET A LIBRARY CARD:

A current, valid Michigan Driver’s License, Michigan Identification Card, or Resident Alien Card documenting identity and current address. If the patron cannot meet this requirement a credible photographic identification must be used to establish the patron’s correct, current name. Acceptable photographic identification includes:

  • Employment or School ID
  • Out-of-State Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • Military ID

If photographic identification does not have current address please provide
one of the following:

  • Voter registration card
  • Recent utility bill
  • Hospitalization, insurance card or automobile registration
  • Printed check
  • Recent local property tax bill

Copy - Scan - Print (b&w and color) - Fax - Computer and Internet Access - Free Wi-Fi - Tax Forms and Instructions - Legal Documents and Forms - eBooks, eAudiobooks and ePeriodicals - Print Books, Magazines, Newspapers, Maps and Reference Materials - DVDs - Audiobooks - Groups, Clubs, Classes and Programs - Genealogy Resources in Print and Online

A library card is required to check out print and eMaterials. All other services do not require a card.
