Construction has come to an end!

Thank you to all our patrons for your patience, donations and support during our parking lot construction. We appreciate all of you!
We also could not have successfully completed our project without the help of several special local organizations. Fennville Public Schools and the Allegan Credit Union graciously allowed the library to use their parking lot and to install a temporary entrance. Our neighbor Supermercado La Poblanita provided library staff parking. Katie Beemer, our wonderful city administrator, spent countless hours administering our grant and dealing with red tape.
Midwest Construction provided hard working construction workers who toiled in some extreme weather conditions. Our Assistant Project Manager Connor Grysen provided support and kept track of expenses. Our fearless Project Manager Doug VanDenBeldt spent every day at the library and never said no to any request or change.
Over the past two years we have been honored to work with the extraordinary staff of Viridis Design Group; Tim Britain, Matt Hull and Allison True. You always managed to balance functionality, beauty, the environment and sustainability. Matt, we will always be indebted to you for your brilliant design. Who knew we could have an “upper porch.”
